Mon, 26 March 2007 ![]() Cheers Podlings! We join you today from our Podcast Cottage at the new 123 Listen 2 Me Headquarters. Did we mention that we were moving in? You can imagine it ..... boxes piled high, stuff everywhere. Sarah and Nina talk about the "joys" of moving - do I hear sarcasm? Nina recites a poem about old and new friends called "We moved about a week ago" - which is actually true, and just in time for this 25th podcast. Inspired by the African Camel Spider "Fun Fact", we will learn how to say "spider" in different languages. The girls also have another poem for you - yup, you guessed it - it's about spiders. Feedback about the Camel Spider was great! We solve the mystery surrounding the creepy arachnid and announce the winner of our African animal sound quiz. In "VocabWise" Sarah and Nina explain what "Euphoria" and "Gregarious" mean. Gregarious is also our main protagonist from Sarah's book review - an improper princess with attitude. All this and great jokes from the chuckle corner to finish off Podcast #25. Don't forget to phone and leave us a message on our voice comment line, which is in the US - (206) - 338-6035 or e-mail us at 123 Listen 2 Me (123listen2me@gmail.com) We love to hear from you! Mon, 5 March 2007 ![]() Hi Podlings! This is the last podcast from our temporary studio - the new 123 Listen 2 Me Johannesburg studio will be ready at the weekend (Yeah!). In Podcast #24 Sarah and Nina tell you all about our half term adventure. Do you recognize these interesting sounds - are you an African wildlife expert? For your next adventure we thought it might be useful for you to know how to say "Help - I don't want to die..." in different languages. Sarah and Nina certainly found it useful during their half term break. Adventures are usually "mesmerizing" or give you a feeling of "elation" - our two Vocabwise words for this Podcast. Back by popular demand - Sarah reviews "The Ruby in the Smoke" a gripping mystery from the depths of Victorian London. In "Fun Facts", you can hear about a uniquely creepy Southern African arachnid - the Camel Spider. We will also provide you with the essential key to South African English, invaluable for that next adventure. GREAT NEWS! Nabs (National Agency for Bunny Search) has found Robert. If you were hopping that he would pop up again - listen to part 1 of Robert Goes Missing. All this and some great jokes in the chuckle corner round off Podcast #24. So, don't forget to phone and leave us a message on our voice comment line, which is still in the US - (206) 338-6035 or email us at 123 Listen 2 Me (123listen2me@gmail.com) We love to hear from you!
